AMD Telecom’s SMSC has a capacity up to 1000 sms/sec and has retry scheme controlled by the Mobile operator. Intelligent message filtering can also be enabled to prevent from delivering spam and spoof sms (block of A2P messaging).
SMPP PROXY SERVER
SMPP proxy is a “virtual” SMSC that can receive SMPP traffic, perform certain tasks and forward to the proper SMSC over the SMPP protocol. SMPP proxy is ideal for MNO and SMS aggregators, who need to load balance, prioritize their traffic, add spam / flood protection and perform real time billing for prepaid or postpaid customers.
